keane has been a new york-based artist since 2001. she exhibits nationally and internationally and her works can be found in private collections throughout the united states, latin america, and europe.

her works on paper have been included in benefits at artists space and kentler international drawing space, in group shows at los angeles center for digital art (LACDA) and 21st national works on paper juried exhibition at mcneese state university.

"my artistic practice explores what happens if a single form or idea is translated between mediums.

i investigate cross-medium dialogue guided by a singular concept – currently, the effect of gravity on form.

when viewed collectively, my gravity-effected (or resilient) loops, droops, whorls, and vortices become a playful, organic mise-en-scène, evoking the curious, the beautiful and the unexpected. "
