CARMEN&INGO/MELBOURNE
I met CARMEN&INGO at PHOTOKINA in Germany last year.
both are very easy going and so much FUN.
another thing I realized pretty fast: they are a TEAM! a good one.
both are gifted photographers and have an own business: caringo photografix.
check their blog! they travel around the world for a half year.
they've already been to Asia, Australia and right now they rock New Zealand.
it is amazing to see and to read how openminded they are to the world,
to people, differences and new things.
I am glad they had a stop in Melbourne.
we combined our meeting with a photoshooting in Melbourne on brunswick street, which is one of my favorite
streets in Melbourne.
I trully enjoyed every single minute of shooting them.
They are very natural in front of the camera, even if they are most of the time behind it.

MARKET.
I am back in Germany. but both worlds are in me. jetlag. summer. winter. day and night. two languages. memories. but responsibilities.
that's why I would like to share with you some more pictures from Australia, I didn't publish on my blog yet.
one of my favorite places in Melbourne was THE VICTORIA MARKET.
I just loved the atmosphere and especially the people from all over the world.
it was crowded, even if the pictures don't really show it. but it was. it was chaotic and loud in the end.
I loved being there.
sometimes just walking through and watching the people. sometimes trying different fruits and vegetables. I loved mangos and passionfruit. they were so tasty. wow.
that is what I had for my breakfast. not cheese. not jam on my bread. but fruit.
I love this part of travel. not just BE in a different world, but also TASTE, SMELL and FEEL it.

es ist so intensiv.
die tage hier. in sydney.
genau DAS. was ich hier erlebe,
wollte ich von anfang an.
keine struktur.
kein plan.
und doch perfekte tage.
das andere wollt ich.
und hier. es ist.
die tage fühlen sich wie wochen.
ich lebte am manly beach.
ich wollte nur
vom strand hier leben.
vom dem geräusch der wellen.
die kommen und die gehen.
von der luft.
und von fish und chips.
ich habs gemacht.
ich lebte in einem surferhostal.
es war so schön.
ich könnte bleiben. dort.
doch dann zog ich in die schnelle
stadt.
ich zog ins chinatown.
aber ich mag es.
sehr.
es ist nichts besonderes.
minimalistisch.
ich sehe leben aus meinem fenster.
die menschen laufend
auf den straßen.
hab asiatische bäckerei entdeckt
so lecker
ich liebte diesen teig.
zum dessert die puffs.
zwei mal. vor dem essen und dannach.
die musik war schön.
ganz andere kultur. und genau das liebe ich.
das andere.
da einzutauchen. und zu lauschen.
eine fremde stadt und doch bekannte leute
ich traf einen musiker
wir hörten bands
ganz viele
und alles nur in einer nacht
es war soviel
bewegung
und die rhythmen
die menschen um mich her
der sommerregen
ich bin verliebt
in die letzte tage
sie sind die besten
sie sind der anfang den ich wollte
jetzt muss ich schlafen
es dreht sich alles
die welt
und ich in ihr.

the perfect day.
no plan.

the beach. not manly.
but another one.
the pool in nature.
the crashing waves.
the scary eyes of the sitting boy.
we swam.
we ordered two.
and shared.
we loved our plan.
it was so beautiful.
we swam again.
we talked.
and took a nap.
back in chinatown
i had my favorite desert
before and after
the real food
i drank the tea
the grean one
i met a indonesian guy
who shares the same
faith like me
we talked
we ate together
he walked me to the station
chinese festival
we didn't say goodbye
just see you.
now i am sitting here.
with just my bags
and waiting
for the train
which takes me back
to the city
where everything began
so differently
I have expected
but it is okay
sydney did it all
i lived just from the beach
i died and was raised again
i watched
i dreamt
i was so independent
i could live from those
days from now on
and keep them in my heart
the days of live.
of the dreamy world
and this light
which we don't have
