last night i was reading about the businesses run by christians by mike larson.
and it really opened my eyes.
sometimes u start something and kind of loose the vision, trying to get your clients,
to work on quality, to manage your finances and to find new inspiration and be creative all the time.
so what is the vision?
what is your vision in life?
and what is the difference between business run by a christian? is there one?
i wanna quote mike thoughts.
"business is a tool that GOD uses to refine our own character and to glorify Him in ways that our personal lives may not allow us to do. "
"business is about GOD's deeper work in us and the people around us"
it really made my think. of course we shouldn't make a line between our personal lives and our businesses. as business owners, as our individual lives change to be more Christ like, our businesses should also become more Christ like.
starting my own business change my view of work. usually people are not very happy about mondays and work.
i am. i am thankful about every client and every possibility to get new experiences, to learn and to grow.
but it is not just about that. and also not just about finances.
"business can bring growth to my character, strength to my family/friends, blessing to people who work with me who may not have otherwise been blessed. it can give me the chance to learn through sacrifice and giving. "

happiness.
I really had an amazing time with my family and my friends in moscow. it was cold, a lot of snow. we went skiing in the forest.
the forest looked magic. we went for a walk to a frozen river, where fisher tried to catch some fish in a small hole. the sun was reflecting the beauty. this was such an amazing day. so calm and peaceful.
we played in the snow with my niece, like in my own childhood. the same places.
almost everythig stayed the same, just the generation has changed.
so I am back again. I will get back to all your requests and emails soon.

gestern war ich in "meiner"stadt. :) zumindest nannte ich sie immer so, als ich noch dort gewohnt hab.
mannheim. als ich da war, merkte ich wie sehr ich die stadt vermisst hab. die straßen. markplatz,die kirche, paradeplatz, den wasserturm. die gassen.
ich bin durch und durch ein städteliebhaber. was wird erst sein, wenn ich wieder mein geliebtes manhattan wieder sehe? :)
es war schön-mehr als das-wieder die alten freunde zu sehen. und auf den geliebten straßen zu laufen. cafe am wasserturm zu trinken. und die mittagspause am paradeplatz zu verbringen. in die filialen reinzugehen und noch ein paar alte gesichter zu sehen. die errinnerungen.
und den schönsten, sonnigen herbsttag zu genießen.
und nachmittags, am rhein entlang zu laufen und von olla und amelia bilder zu machen. :)
olla-ich werde euch beide vermissen. ich hoffe bald-vielleicht auch in vancouver euch zu sehen. it was so nice to have you for a while back in germany. have a good flight and blessed time coming back home.
